I was fascinated by this distinctive body pattern and created this piece.
Cats are commonly known as domestic animals, but the wild appearance of this leopard cat reminds us that cats are originally wild animals, and are relative of big cats.

The wild leopard cat is found in tropical and temperate forests.
The coat of the leopard cat is usually yellowish above, white below, and heavily marked with black spots and streaks.
Its small head is marked with two prominent dark stripes and a short and narrow white muzzle. Two dark stripes are running from the eyes to the ears, and smaller white streaks running from the eyes to the nose.
