Biography
I paint the beauty of the universe as I see it reflected through nature's majesty in my current home of Nagasaki, Japan. I believe that every animal that exists in this world deserves to be called God’s masterpiece.
Their remarkable behaviors and appearances have evolved to support their roles on this planet...toward the fulfillment of each of their destinies.
I channel my enthusiasm for the amazing characteristics of animals by rendering them with academic oil painting techniques on canvas. Oil paint works inquisitively as if it has its own spirit— I believe this quality gives vivacity to the animals in my work.
Through my paintings, I hope that viewers will truly appreciate the extraordinary world that surrounds us.
