Representatives of neighbouring Burgundian wine-making villages remove their banners and their individual patron saints from the church after they've been blessed during a special service for the Saint-Vincent. Saint Vincent is the patron saint of all wine-makers and it is an important moment in the wine-maker's calendar.

This moment was at the church of Morey-Saint-Denis in the Côtes de Nuits.

Detail has been removed in this rendition to evoke the moment that is applicable to all Saint Vincent celebrations.

Drawn in charcoal on Fabriano 200g recycled paper.

The mount and black wood frame with anti-reflection glass is given with this work. Frame border is 1.5cm.
