In Sept-Îles, corrugated metal dominates the landscape. Architecturally, it is not the most attractive feature, but from a photographic standpoint—when the light is intense and strikes the surface at a near-parallel angle—it yields semi-abstract images of great graphic beauty.

Here, I sought to capture the power of contrast and the precision of lines, revealing the beauty hidden within industrial simplicity. This modern black-and-white image conveys both austerity and poetry, creating an atmosphere that is at once calm and dynamic—bringing an elegant, understated quality to your space. It is a tribute to geometry and the light dancing across surfaces.

Printed on 100% cotton paper—free of acid and optical brighteners (Fine Art print on Red River Palo Duro Softgloss Rag 315 gsm paper) using Epson pigment inks. The paper measures 25 in x 17 in, and the image measures 23.4 in x 13.2 in. Consequently, the image is surrounded by a margin.
