In Sept-Îles, corrugated metal dominates the landscape. Architecturally, it is not the most attractive feature, but from a photographic standpoint—when the light is intense and strikes the surface at a near-parallel angle—it yields semi-abstract images of great graphic beauty.

This black-and-white piece captures industrial precision with a modern touch. I sought to convey the harmony hidden within the repetitive lines and the contrasts of light and shadow. It brings a restrained, structured energy—ideal for enlivening a contemporary interior with a clean, bold aesthetic.

Printed on 100% cotton paper—free of acid and optical brighteners (Fine Art print on Red River Palo Duro Softgloss Rag 315 gsm paper) using Epson pigment inks. The paper measures 25 in x 17 in, and the image measures 23.4 in x 13.2 in. Consequently, the image is surrounded by a margin.
