Original artwork description
I love painting everyday life scenes and am always on the lookout for such scenes. I found this autowallah (tuk-tuk driver) on a fine morning trying to catch up on the latest news before someone hired him and he got busy for the day! I’ve tried a different approach to paint this by painting just the figure, the newspaper, and some part of the vehicle thus keeping the focus on the figure. This is created on a 270 gsm rough grain Indian handmade paper. Signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Materials used:
Pencil, Artist-grade watercolour paints, Indian handmade watercolour paper
Details:
- Watercolour on Paper
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 40.64 x 30.48 x 0.25cm (unframed) / 40.64 x 30.48cm (actual image size)
- Signed on the front
- Style: Graphic, illustrative and typographic
- Subject: People and portraits
