Along the grey street (2024) Original Watercolour by Galina Poloz
40 x 30 x 0.1cm (unframed)
£376.46
Original artwork description
Along the Grey Street captures a quiet urban passage shaped by architecture, perspective, and changing light. The street leads through historic buildings towards a distant opening, while figures and small touches of colour briefly interrupt the restrained grey atmosphere.
Painted in transparent watercolour on heavy watercolour paper, the work balances architectural structure with areas of softness and dissolution. The city is presented not simply as a specific place, but as a space experienced through movement, light, and memory.
