A strong mature tree standing alone, emanating colourful energies into the dark sky.
Passing stormy clouds reveal a brightness which highlights the grasses at the front of the image.

Where I live I cannot help but be inspired by the changing seasons and weather; here in the Lincolnshire Wolds, on the east side of England, the land is fairly flat so we enjoy enormous skies and marvellous vistas across the flat Fenland a few miles to the south and west.

Watercolour in black, white, brown, green, russet and blue with added Caran d'Ache pencil - on grey Khadi paper.

The photographs showing the framed piece are computer generated images to give an idea of how it might look 'floated' to show off the deckled edge of the painting.

Size: A3
Khadi handmade is a beautiful cotton rag paper from India - 210 gsm paper with a deckled edge.

Posted flat with a certificate of authenticity, wrapped in acide-free tissue, in a reinforced envelope, sent by Tracked Postage.

Materials used:

graphite, watercolour, Khadi 210 gsm paper
