Portrait of David Bowie.
I have enjoyed painting small scale canvases recently - I like that they force me to harshly crop an image - it somehow makes it more powerful.
Painted in oil, but the black background is acrylic ( for speed of drying).
Box canvas - edges painted black. Box canvas allows it to be displayed free standing - or mounted onto a wall. Small scale also means that shipping is inexpensive.
Signed front and reverse.
