This is a fun painting and part of a series of budgie paintings I was thinking of creating for an up-coming exhibition but like a woman who can't make up her mind I have thought of something else I want to do instead so here is my lovely budgie having an early release into the world.
He has been painted on my new favourite 18 x 24 inch cradled wooden panel using mixed media and acrylic paints, the edges are painted orange to create a vibrancy withthe green background. This painting is unframed and ready to hang or could be framed by the new owner.
