My Grandmother always had Bleeding Hearts, her bush was huge and carried many blossoms at once. As a child I would lay beside it and tell stories as the little hearts acted out the roles. She would often let me pick one stem of flowers, to put in the little glass vase on the table. Whenever I miss her more than usual I paint flowers that remind me or her.
Bleeding Hearts is 11 x 14 on 140 lb cold press paper, it is matted and ready to slid into a frame.
