Big Bang Scaffolding (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Tim Smith
35.5 x 46 x 1cm (unframed) / 35.5 x 46cm (actual image size)
£395
Original artwork description
I love the idea of. scaffolding, how it grows and supports the building of whatever is being built. A ladder that has been folded around the edge of the painting rather than left standing on its own. It doesn't lead anywhere in particular; it simply frames, the way scaffolding frames a building before the building can stand for itself. The scaffold, here, is not incidental — it is the structure that time leaves behind.
At 36 x 46 cm, the painting is small enough to hold in a glance, and arrives ready to hang waiting to be the centre of your universe.
