Autumn's Last Leaves - Cradled Moon (2019) Original Watercolour by Phyllis Mahon

Autumn is here again and it's impossible to miss the changing seasons here where I live in the countryside in Lincolnshire!


With this sudden change of season I've created two new paintings in the similar theme (using and elaborating on a title from 2017 "Autumn's Last Leaves). This one is minus the figure and I've focused on the trees and the moon only.

I love working on this Indian Khadi handmade cotton rag paper.
It is a 12 x 17 inches / 31 x 44 cm, 210 gsm weight paper with a deckled edge; my favourite shades are the muted shades of blue, grey and teal.


Available unframed.
I have created three CGIs showing how the painting might look framed with* and without the deckled edge showing.
*Please ask your framer to "float" the image; then it can be surrounded with mat/mount board as usual. Please ensure that any artwork is kept from touching the glass.

Wrapped in acid-free tissue, packed carefully and sent by Tracked Delivery.
