Original artwork description
Anger Behind The Colors is a mixed media portrait created on recycled paper of uncertain origin — maybe old packaging, maybe a forgotten T-shirt stiffener. The surface doesn't matter. The anger does.
This work is a reaction to the art system itself. To platforms that demand almost half of an artwork’s value while the artist pays for materials, time, failure, learning, and years of persistence. The portrait shows an artist staring back with venom-red eyes, full lips clenched in silent resistance, teeth barely glowing from a dark inner void. Lines collide, colors fight, composition fractures. Nothing here is calm or polite.
Made using pencil, crayons, acrylic paint, ink markers, and whatever was within reach, this piece embraces chaos as honesty. It is not decorative. It is confrontational. A refusal to be softened, optimized, or diluted for profit.
This artwork asks a simple question: if art is labor, why is the labor disposable?
