BIRTH is part of "Reality Bites", a collection of realist paintings, which are full of color and underlying messages. This is part of a series of paintings where I address the prolife issue by portraying children's items. This little dress represents the blessing of bringing a child to the world in spite of the difficulties and circumstances. Life is always beautiful! The piece is painted in oils on linen. This is basically a baby blouse hanging on a royal blue wall with a clothing hanger. On the wall, I painted an orange masking tape waiting for the name of that baby. It is a beautiful piece with a profound meaning.
