(Dec. 2018) 30 x 48 x 1.5 Unframed painting-Ready to hang-sides are painted to match painting. Gallery Wrapped Cotton Canvas (13 layers). Textured/Layered Abstract Painting. Painted with palette knives. The main color tones I have used in this painting are Copper, Teal, Aqua, and Orange. There are small hints of Black and Gold as well. I have several steps I went through to get to my top layers. I have several layers of primer on the canvas. I then went through 3 stages to get to the top 2 layers. I actually have a layer of Cream and Wine Red under the top 3 layers. There are very small hints of the Cream and Wine Red. I find it creative to bring out the colors below the top layer as I have done with this painting and most of my paintings. I wanted to focus on the Copper and use Teal and Aqua to highlight the Copper underneath. In this painting-You can let your own imagination create the feeling you want. I wanted to center on the middle of the painting with some unique features with the Copper, Teal, and Orange Splashes and Lines. The painting has a very bold appearance with the center points I have created. There are small details that are hard to pick up with photographs. **My Abstracts are also an expression in 4 different ways..so the painting can be hung 4 different directions-so there is 2 Vertical hangings and 2 Horizontal hangings. Felt pads included on backside corners. Signed on the backside and Certificate of Authenticity included with the painting 1/1.
