A Moment to Remember (2026) Original Oil Painting by Andrii Kovalyk

Part of my ongoing Water Lilies series, this painting was inspired by the tranquil pond near my studio in Madrid and by the lasting impression of Claude Monet’s celebrated water lily paintings, which I have admired in museums around the world.

Using luminous colors, shimmering reflections, and rich textures, I sought to weave together these inspirations with personal memories of fleeting moments when nature revealed its quiet magic.

Rather than depicting a particular place, the work invites contemplation, evoking a sense of serenity, light, and timeless beauty.
