About Yulia Odukalets

Biography

I’m Yulia Odukalețs — each artwork exists as a singular, unrepeatable expression.

Availability

Some of my paintings are currently part of exhibition projects and are temporarily unavailable for purchase. These works will be available for shipping in August.

Style & approach

My style leans toward a vintage aesthetic, focusing on individuality, emotional depth, and quiet reflection. I aim to create works that offer a sense of calm and connection.

Technique

I work in layered oil painting, using not only brushes but also blades, natural materials, and everyday objects. This allows me to build rich textures and tactile surfaces, giving each painting its own narrative.

Concept

At the core of my practice is the search for harmony - first within myself, and then with the world. I transform personal experiences, thoughts, and emotions into visual language, where vulnerability becomes strength and inner tension resolves through color and layering.

Each painting is a process of reflection, transformation, and growth.

Philosophy

My guiding principle is simple: “Grow. Act.” As Richard Branson said, “Screw it, just do it.” This mindset reflects my belief in action, learning, and embracing uncertainty as essential parts of both life and art.

Invitation

Through my work, I invite viewers to pause, reflect, and connect - to feel calm, introspection, and the beauty of their own uniqueness.
