Tiny de Bruin about her work: "I get the inspiration from nature, my immediate surroundings and stories I hear or read. Cheerful colours and wild paintings are an expression of creativity and enthusiasm. Soft colours are more an expression of a melancholy mood. Often I work out an abstract design. Meanwhile, my paintings are also influenced by a spiritual personal development process that I've started in 2005. I want my paintings to create a moment where the thinking process stops and intuition takes over.
