Colour is the engine of everything I paint. I'm drawn to the moment when an ordinary thing turns intense — a bouquet that burns like fire, a wave a second before it breaks, a woman's gaze that holds a whole story. Oil is my language. I work with a brush and a palette knife, building thick impasto layers you almost want to touch, so a painting radiates energy across a room before you step closer.
I paint in series, each collection a different mood in the same bold visual language: florals full of light, restless seascapes, city nights, female portraits and colour-field abstracts. I never plan a painting to the very end — I follow the colour and let the surface tell me when it is finished.
I want my work to do one simple thing: bring a jolt of life and warmth to the wall it hangs on. Every piece is an original, hand-painted and signed in my Lisbon studio, and made to be lived with.
