I am a Ukrainian watercolor artist best known for my close-up bird portraits.

Birds are at the center of my practice because they fill me with wonder and genuine curiosity. The longer I observe them, the more I discover their individuality. I am drawn not to perfection, but to presence — to the quiet dignity of beings that exist beyond human expectations of beauty.

Through watercolor, I balance precision with spontaneity. Transparent layers allow natural textures to emerge, while carefully defined details in the eyes preserve each bird’s character. By placing my subjects against a white background, I invite the viewer to slow down and truly see — to look beyond first impressions and discover beauty where it might not be immediately expected.

My work has been recognized nationally and internationally. My paintings are included in the permanent collection of the Ukrainian Museum of Folk Art
