About Tetiana Savchenko

Hello! My name is Tetiana Savchenko and I’m a full-time artist from Ukraine. I am engaged in the studies of folk Ukrainian paintings and ornaments. It is believed that ornament is a "language of millennia", which enables us to know our roots better, and this helps you to understand yourself more clearly. The research was very exciting and found its reflection in my works. Thus, based on the tradition of folk art, respecting the sacral content of ornaments, I unite the past and the modern, traditional Ukrainian painting with new techniques and materials. Besides drawing, my other passion there are also flowers. I grow them in my garden, they decorate my home and they are an integral part of my paintings. I actively participate in national and international exhibitions. My works are in the public collection of the Ukrainian Museum of Folk Art, and in private collections in USA, Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland and France. Today I have more than 50 works of different sizes for sale, I'm currently working on a new series and I'm planning a few more in the future.
