  • Biography

Stevlin Yovchev is an experienced professional Bulgarian sculptor. Born in 1967, he graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia with master degree in Metal Sculpture and Art Metalworking. Ever since his graduation he has participated in many group exhibitions in Bulgaria, Norway, US and Canada, developing beautifully his big talent and hard work.

He adores to create wanders out of steel, brass and wood. His details, his work with the lines and his overall figurative approach are remarkable. His minimalist art style is outstanding, giving lots of lightness to the metal material. He doesn't limit himself to size and form. He also sometimes works with scrap metal, which gives birth to extraordinary new artistic life forms.

Since 2021 he is presented by the Bulgarian Integrated Artists Gallery in Sofia-city. Since 2017 the gallery has successfully distributed worldwide nearly 1000 original artworks and has main impact on its represented artists’ overall style development and art techniques.
