I make art from my body and I mean it to be a political act and a necessity as well. I explore the body's energetic fields—emotion, sensation, memory—and its spatial dimensions. The body is explored as a locus of identity and as a process as well. The result is an anthropometric abstraction with an expressionist and gestural character. Or an organic abstraction that figures out the energetic fields that I perceive around and through me.
Walking my path, my art has become multidisciplinary, but painting remains, as a thread to connect along the way, to the inner, intimate essence - both mine and of the realm I pretend to paint.
I also love to work with visual poetry, both in public spaces and in relational, participative events, on social and environmental issues.
