I’m a Nigerian-born artist based in Canada, and my work comes from personal experience, memory, and imagination. I paint to explore moments that stay with me childhood, migration, dreams, and the emotional weight of growing through life. My paintings often sit between reality and imagination, using figures and symbolic elements to tell stories that people can feel, even if they’ve never lived them. Creating art is how I process life and make sense of the world around me. It’s also how I connect with others. I want people to see themselves, their memories, or their emotions reflected in the work. I want to sell on Artfinder because I’m focused on building a strong collector base and sharing my work with a wider audience beyond my local community.
