My paintings begin where performance ends. Every canvas is created through physical movement, using my body instead of traditional brushes. The painting is not an illustration of a performance—it is the performance itself, preserved as an object.
I treat painting as an unique live performance in which I am influenced by the music, the story, and the emotions that arise during the dance. My practice transforms the act of painting into a live, performative event, where movement, endurance, and presence become tools for large scale image-making.
Each work emerges from a time-based process in which the painting records traces of action, decision, and intensity I use my body as both instrument and medium, allowing physical movement, rhythm, and temporality to shape large-scale contemporary paintings.
