Last Night in Rome (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Paolo KOZMA

101 x 155 x 1cm (unframed)

£698.06

As a performer artist with good skills contemporary dance, I start from my body as a brush. I treat painting as an unique live performative event.

This large-scale abstract painting was created during a live performance in front of an audience at the Infinit Theater. Blending visual art with physical theatre, the work emerged through an intense, immersive act where the body became the brush.

Performed to the powerful sound of Rammstein, the piece channels raw energy, rhythm, and tension into bold, expressive gestures. Movement, choreography, and narrative intertwine, transforming the act of painting into a visceral, almost ritualistic experience.

Each mark on the canvas is a direct trace of motion and emotion—unrepeatable, immediate, and alive. The result is not just a painting, but a captured moment of force and presence, where performance and visual art collide in a unique and compelling form.
