I work in Denver with palette knives, impasto, and sculptural mixed media. My focus is on florals that stand up off the panel, Colorado aspens, and vast landscapes. A vital piece of my studio work is dedicated to custom commissions, where I partner with collectors to take their personal ideas and project visions and bring them to life on canvas. I was trained in the old European academic way, but I live and paint in Colorado light. My creative process is rooted my philosophy. I listen more than I force. Technique and attention are not separate jobs; they are what happens when I work from the inner center where conscience, desire, perception, and will meet. Whether I am translating my own inspiration or breathing life into a client's commission project, I believe beauty, goodness, and truth are one single thing seen from different angles. The thick, luminous brushstrokes and structural textures are the visible traces of deep listening.
