About Nina

My work is a negotiation between control and release. I don't look for an accurate depiction of reality. I look for the underlying energy. ​Nina is a contemporary painter known for her larger-than-life, emotionally driven abstract works. Her practice is deeply rooted in the physical process of mark-making, exploring the tension between deliberate structure and spontaneous gesture.
