I make large-format abstract paintings in my Edinburgh studio — layered, textured works built up with palette knife and acrylic over days or weeks.

The process matters. What you receive is not a flat print but a surface with physical depth, weight, and presence — one that changes depending on the light and how close you stand.

My work is informed by architectural form, industrial structure, and the coastal landscape of Scotland. Geometric precision meets organic texture, from planned composition alongside the marks that accumulate when you build in layers.

I graduated in illustration and spent years creating work for advertising agencies and publishers. That background shaped how I think about composition, impact, and the way a single image holds attention.
