Event: THE LAND OF SILENCE

"The Land of Silence" exhibition at the Musa Pavilion, Palazzo Pisani Revedin, during the prestigious 60th Venice Biennale.
"The Land of Silence" offers an immersive journey into the quiet depths of contemporary art, blurring the lines between expression and introspection. This exhibition invites you to explore the profound impacts of silence through art that speaks volumes in its tranquility.
My featured piece "The Beauty of the Moment" captures the transient beauty of a dewdrop on grass, a delicate moment bathed in the soft morning sunlight—reminding us of the ephemeral nature of life and the importance of savouring the present.
Event: BOOMER ART PRIZE / The Dark Side - 2nd Edition
Dates: 10 May 2024 - 15 May 2024
Does a latent shadow reside in the heart of artistic creation and within the souls of the artists themselves?
If any figure could parallel the introspective solitude of a monk, it is the visual artist. Though it may stir debate, let us reflect. Consider the profound solitude, the palpable stillness of the studio where silent hours merge into days, as the artist labors and broods over their craft, fervently hoping for the world to awaken to the brilliance of their ideas, to feel the pulse of their passion embedded in their work.
In this sacred space, sanity often hangs by a delicate thread. In that dim studio corner, the artist’s once cherished chair becomes a silent sentinel, marking the site of internal battles. Here, in the quiet chaos reminiscent of Van Gogh’s own torments, the artist faces the relentless inquisition of their worth, questioning their identity with every fleeting moment: Is my art a true reflection of my essence?

About the event:
"In the last hundred years, humankind has seen unprecedented innovations and changes, from skyscrapers to moon landings, to social media, to human rights, to Art...?
At this very moment in our society, everything moves incredibly fast, time doesn’t seem sufficient anymore. Artists seem to find their path much harder, the ongoing changes create a need for a continuous state of transcendence, and this is reflected in contemporary art.
The aim of this exhibition is to explore the trends in contemporary art and to create a dialogue between the artists and the viewers."

Biography
Inna Etuvgi: Cybernetic Animism
The Concept:
My work exists at the intersection of technical precision and indigenous intuition—a practice I define as Cybernetic Animism. Born in a remote Arctic village in Chukotka and trained as a Master of Technical Cybernetics, I explore the shared soul of the natural macro-world and digital algorithms. For me, a lichen and an artificial neural network are both sentient systems, whispering the same secrets of existence.
The Method:
AI as a Visual Prosthesis Living with Aphantasia—the inability to visualize imagery in the mind's eye—I have turned technology into an extension of my consciousness. Photography and Generative AI are not just tools; they are my visual prosthetics. Where my mind sees silence, the camera and the code allow me to externalize deep emotional landscapes.
The Vision:
Whether capturing the intricate structures of mosses (the lungs of our planet) or creating psychological digital portraits, I seek a new anthropology of the self. My Swedish-Chukchi roots guide me to see the "living" in the non-human, while my cybernetic background allows me to navigate the complexities of our technological future.
Recognition:
A finalist for the Arte Laguna Prize (Venice Arsenal) and a recipient of the Swedish Arts Grants Committee grant, my work is a bridge between the ancient wisdom of the North and the digital frontier of tomorrow.
