About Maria D'Angelo

I have always felt as if I was born with a pencil in my hand and an affinity towards animals (especially horses) and people in my detailed work. These subjects are what motivates me to create the work that I do. I love to capture a special moment in time for my collectors. There is no greater reward for me than being able to bring happiness to people through my artwork. I work in several mediums including pencil, colored pencil oil and acrylic, always with the desire to communicate the emotions and energy of my subjects through fine details. Realism is my primary goal. I want my subjects to look as though they will come to life and leap off the paper.
