Karolina Kijak-Dzikońska is a Polish nature artist and illustrator inspired by birds, wildlife and the landscapes she observes around her.

Birdwatching and ornithology are an important part of her creative practice. Many of her paintings begin with time spent outdoors observing animals, noticing small details and looking for those quiet moments that make an encounter with nature memorable.

She works mainly in watercolor, combining careful observation with a soft, atmospheric approach. Her paintings often show birds and other wild animals together with fragments of their natural surroundings.

Karolina is the author and illustrator of Skrzydlate Akwarele and has also created illustrations for the board games Meadow and Pergola. Alongside painting, she is interested in visual science communication and in using art to share knowledge about nature in an engaging, accessible way.

She lives and works in Poland, where local wildlife remains one of her main sources of inspiration.
