About Kara Baah

  • Biography
I create art because it has always been one of the clearest ways for me to process life, reflect on faith, and connect with people. Creativity has been part of me since childhood, and over the years I’ve explored many forms of creating, from painting and poetry to crafts and design. My work is especially inspired by themes of hope, transformation, intimacy, and well-being. I love capturing movement, emotion, and the beauty found in both people and nature, particularly plants and birds Working as an NHS physiotherapist during the COVID-19 pandemic deepened my understanding of how important creativity can be for emotional well-being and healing. Art became a place of reflection and restoration for me, and I want my work to offer that same sense of encouragement and pause to others. I want to sell on Artfinder because I value meaningful connections through art. I love the idea that a piece created in my London studio could resonate with someone across the world and become part of their home and story. Selling my work also allows me to continue growing as an artist, invest in new ideas and materials, and share art that sparks conversation, hope, and inspiration.
