    John R. Govett is a London based artist who was born in Bromley, Kent in 1953 and went on to attended St. Martins School of Art.
     
    John paints directly from the subject in oil, acrylic or watercolour, each piece being an emotional and expressive response to his environment at the moment of e‎xecution.
    His subjects include: Cities, landscapes, seascapes and the human figure.

    John’s work has been shown in various exhibitions and sold through private galleries in London/Kent and is held in various private collections in UK and overseas.
