  • Biography
I am absolutely fond of the beautiful planet we live on, and I can’t help reflecting my impressions of it in a visual manner. Painting is a kind of metaphysical process for me and a way to grasp and to perpetuate the splendor of the surrounding world. I am open to different techniques and media, however, I predominantly use oils and acrylics at the moment. My artwork tends towards impressionistic or semi-abstract realism, though I always try not just to dully depict what I see, but to pass it through the prism of artistic interpretation, to breathe a soul and mood into it.  Though I am pretty concerned to achieve a high artistic quality of my work, the ultimate goal for me is to get the contemplator away from their daily grind and make them enter some other, magical dimensions.
