Biography
I have been shooting on film for the last 27 years, focusing on black and white medium format film and printing on fibre base paper.
My projects are produced in strictly limited editions of no more than 5, 10 or 15 prints. Any additional copies, excluding a small number of artist’s proofs, are destroyed to guarantee the authenticity and integrity of each collection.
My work focuses on authenticity and the expression of positive messages, such as peace and inclusion.
The value of my work and practice has recently been recognised by the National Gallery, which accepted my donation of a single-edition print and its corresponding negative from my project *LCKDN20*. The Gallery’s Director, Gabriele Finaldi, described the picture as “an image of great elegance and poignancy”, and the LCKDN20 project as “an extraordinary photographic project… both aesthetic and documentary.”
