Peaceful Minds II - Edition of 5 (2025) Giclée print by Giacomo Mantovani

The Peaceful Minds project began from the desire to express peace and understanding in an increasingly chaotic world.

Each print is essentially a unique piece, created by splashing and brushing the developer onto the exposed paper.

Imperfections such as dust and hair are left unretouched as part of the medium’s DNA, and prove that the work is analogue.

This large-scale print was created by assembling 20 close-up digital photographs of sections of the original print. The photographs were then precisely merged in Adobe Photoshop, and the resulting image was colour-graded to precisely match the colour and tonal qualities of the original print. The final file was then printed on Ilford Gold Fibre Gloss paper, dry-mounted onto aluminium, and framed behind anti-reflective glass.
