About Faisal Warsani

  • Biography

“I'm always romanticizing a tropical fantasy because I've never been a fan of reality.
I know they say to live in the moment, but I spend so much of my time remembering different hours in my life. The happiest I've been was living in Hawai'i, swimming & surfing as the sun set on my skin.

My work is centered thematically around the sea, which allows me the freedom to explore the many shapes of water.
Beachside memories and the constant desire to escape are what inspire me."

Although he grew up on the North Shore of Chicago, he has lived for some time in Texas, Italy, and most recently, Hawai’i.
