Artworks by Daisy-Anne Dickson

Daisy-Anne is an abstract artist based just outside of Atlanta, GA. Her work is intertwined with the art of storytelling by emphasizing layers, texture, motion and color to create a language of her own.

Formally educated in oil painting, Daisy-Anne graduated in 2004 with a BA in Studio Painting from Oglethorpe University. She went on to earn her BS in Nursing, in 2014 from Georgia State University.  Currently, Daisy splits her time between her art profession and nursing profession as a registered nurse in both the emergency room and surgical services.  Her compassion, desire to help and heal, as well as her love of science can be seen in her evolving and experimental processes.  

Daisy has moved from strictly oil painting to mixed media, including acrylics, spray paint, watercolor, collage, inks, gold leafing, thread, and resin on canvas, fabrics or wood.  Daisy currently works out of her home studio and creates a range of work including figurative pop art, collaged mixed media works on paper, and abstract expressionist work incorporating salvaged antique frames.
