Hello, I live in Kent and paint Landscapes, Seascapes, Churches and also the Royal Military Canal and the wild and windy Romney Marsh. My inspiration is drawn from the beautiful Kentish country side and my childhood memories, having spent a lot of it on my Grandparents farm and being fortunate enough to be able to roam in Kentish woodlands and places of natural, unspoilt splendour. I have painted since a very early age and through the years have had many successful exhibitions at various local locations with paintings in many private collections in the U.K., Holland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia and U.S.A. I paint in oil, acrylic and in watercolour, mainly on canvas, canvas panels or rough watercolour paper. For seventeen years, together with my wife, i ran a professional framing workshop and picture gallery, and although we are now retired, i still enjoy framing my own artwork. Some of my paintings on the Artfinder website are unframed therefore giving you the customer the opportunity to choose your own finish. I hope you enjoy the paintings.
