About Anna Ugryumova

My design feeling and my scrupule attention to detail distinguish my current abstract expressionist and at the same time her filigran painting style. Working from my studio in Berlin, my process is authentic and defined by my attention to color, texture and shape. Inspired by nature, interiors and travel, I often imagines my works in the home of its future collector. I produce work in a flow of feelings and emotion, free of thoughts; preferring to mix colors spontaneously ans intuitivly. My creations show my push toward innovative use of textural materials including large scale works on custom designed linen canvases. It’s all about feeling. I do not create paintings, I create feelings and atmosphere for the ambiance. The layers of paint interact with the linen canvas material in unexpected ways. The result is both exciting and spontaneous- it‘s a mirror of my personal style and philosophy. ​
