I was born in Hong Kong and grow up in Toronto, Canada. When I was about three years old, I came upon my teenager neighbor practicing her Chinese ink painting which lighted my interests and I started to paint and draw to amuse myself. My childhood interests stay with me and never left me. Everyday, after school all my spare time were spent making art.
In 1973 our
family moved to Canada and I attended and
graduated from Central Technical School and Ontario College
of Art and Design University.
For the last 25 years, I working full time as an artist. Although I am known for my award winning watercolors but in recent years I also put my creativity into paper cuts, sculpture, recycled art and photography.
My inspiration come from experience in life, family history, people I met, places I had been to and things I observe.
