Biography
Alfia Koral is a contemporary artist specializing in oil painting, currently based in London, United Kingdom.
Her artistic journey began in childhood at a formal art school, followed by advanced studies in academic painting and drawing. She later completed a specialized course in traditional Old Masters oil painting techniques and studied contemporary art practices at the HSE Art and Design School in Moscow.
Alfia’s distinctive visual language emerged through years of experimentation and exploration across various artistic disciplines. Her work is deeply rooted in the physicality of oil paint, embracing its natural flow, texture, and unpredictability. By allowing the medium to guide the creative process, she achieves unexpected color interactions and rich, tactile surfaces that evoke associative, almost dreamlike imagery.
At the core of Alfia’s artistic practice lies a philosophy of mindfulness and presence — an invitation to step out of the repetitive patterns of thought and rediscover the wonder of the moment. Her paintings reflect a meditative observation of the world, capturing its beauty, mystery, and emotional depth.
Alfia’s works have been acquired by private collectors across the globe, and she continues to collaborate with international galleries and platforms. Through her art, she seeks to offer a visual space for stillness, contemplation, and connection.
