This painting was created with oil paints, use of the palette knife, sgraffito and the splashing technique. The butterflies are collage. It is inspired by my many coastal walks in the South West of England with my beloved. I have endeavoured to capture the light, the excitement and the joy felt when surrounded by wild flowers so close to the sea... This is a deep edge canvas, painted on the edges and ready to hang on your wall
