Wrapped (2021) Original Stone Sculpture by Emanuela Camacci

The sculpture with an organic shape and inspired by dense substances like two drops, where one wraps the other in a sort of embrace. Two that in finding each other come to life. A sculpture that stimulates tenderness, warmth and curiosity.

Technical Sheet
The work is carved from a block of limestone coming from Majella quarry montain in the beautiful region of Italy. Small pieces of stone are fixed on a part of the stone. The stone I used is quite soft and with the characteristic of hardening externally over time to form a harder external layer.
