Caramel light,

Original expressive watercolour on cold pressed watercolour paper Fabriano 300gsm 140lb.
I felt very inspired being back in the landscape that surrounds where I live. Winter is wonderful when all is bare and the earthy colours I love it at sunset to dusk.
I wet the paper all over and began with a one colour tone for the light. While the paper was wet I applied the different shades of brown. Trickling the paint with pressing or releasing the colours. Tipping the paper and being careful how I do this takes a lot of practice.
