Beautiful wildflower meadow painting in soft colours. It features cornflowers. Cornflowers are usually blue. However, they also come in shades of lilacs , pinks and white. So I have decided to put them all together in one painting.

This is painted in acrylic on canvas. The style of painting involves many layers to build up the texture and show the foliage and grasses as they grow in a field. It is a contemporary and stylised vision of a wildflower meadow.

Wildflower meadows are very seriously in decline in the UK. They are essential for pollinators and butterflies. They also make the countryside more beautiful. My aim, through this popular series of paintings, is to draw attention to the natural beauty of flowers growing, as nature intended, in the wild.

The canvas has white painted sides. The work is protected with layers of good quality UV varnish. It comes ready to hang.
