Young Hare (2017)Watercolour by Tomasz Mikutel

This is an original watercolour painting of a “Young Hare”. For this painting I have used a top quality Arches Paper and High grade professional Winsor and Newton paints which guarantee extra durability and colour protection.

For this Watercolour Hare I decided to go pretty loose to enhance the fluffiness of its fur. Again I`ve used my favourite colour which is a combination of ultramarine blue and winsor red. Both, when mixed with each other give that lovely purple coulor which you can see on most of my paintings. Usually I let the watercolours to mix on the paper as well, this what watercolours are all about as name suggests all you need is a water and some pigment to create something out of nothing. I think this is the youngest hare I painted so far hence small ears and cute look.
