I painted these flowers to capture the raw, untamed energy of nature. Working in my studio in Amsterdam, I am always fascinated by how delicate white petals can stand out so fiercely against deep, moody shadows. This painting is about that exact contrast, where fragility meets vibrant strength. This piece is designed to bring a touch of modern rustic charm and nature - infused energy into your space. The bold orange accent among the soft white blooms draws the eye, making it a perfect statement piece for a cozy living room or bedroom.
I created this composition using heavy impasto and broken color techniques, building up thick layers of paint. The rich, tactile surface gives the flowers a sculptural feel, as if they are breaking out of the canvas.
